I am super excited! Even though I haven't been working out as much as I wanted to, I have been tracking my calories on My Fitness Pal. Some days are better then others, but I still track. Maybe just the act of tracking is helping me lose weight. Also I have been staying between 1450 and 1600 calories a day. On the days that I do not work out. Which has been a bit lately. On the days I do work out I try to eat back at least half of the calories that I burned.
This week I got quite a bit of walking in by grocery shopping. I usually try to stock up on dry good at the beginning of the month and then I only have to shop for fresh fruits and veggies and dairy for the rest of the month. In one day I spent 1 1/2 hours at Winco, and then about another hour or so at Smith's Marketplace. Pushing around a cart with my 4 year old in it is a workout enough. Then add a cart full of groceries. It was heavy!
Well, I guess I have postponed enough, I know I should have come out and said my weight first thing since that is the title of this post. That's no fun at all. I got on the scale today and I weigh 280.0 pounds that is a 6.4 pound loss from the first of the month and a 10 pound loss so far! I guess focusing on keeping my calories in check and tracking does really help in the long run. That means when I weigh in next week it will be goodbye 280s! Yay! Now I am off to complete day 8 of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred!
